- Prepare 1 head of cabbage, chopped.
- You need 1 of enough water to cover the cabbage.
- You need 1 of milk, any kind you use - coconut milk, rice milk, whole dairy.
- You need 1 pinch of each salt, pepper & ground nutmeg to taste.
- You need 1 tbsp of sunflower spread/butter.

- Put the chopped cabbage into a large pan of boiling water. Simmer for 20 minutes, then drain.
- Add milk to the saucepan, enough to cover the cabbage. Let it stew in the milk until it's reduced to just a coating on the cabbage - don't let the milk boil.
- When cooked through, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste and a tablespoon of butter/sunflower spread melted through.
- Other vegetables cooked in milk this way are just as tasty such as carrots and cauliflower.
